Hello!
Welcome to Journeys of Grace! My name is Kimberly Cornelius; I am a writer, learner, and daughter of God.
As a writer . . .
Writing has always been an integral part of who I am. From the first short story I wrote in a small notebook as an eight-year-old to the variety of poems and journal entries I wrote as a teen, I have fallen in love with the written word over and over again throughout the years. Now in my early twenties, I continue to love writing.
As a learner . . .
I am currently a student pursuing my master’s degree in Intercultural Studies. A learner, however, is so much more than a student. I am constantly learning more about myself, others, and God. My writing is often the result of my thoughts on the new things that I learn, a reflection of who I am becoming each day.
As a daughter of God . . .
My identity is rooted in God who made me His child. Though once I was lost in my sins, wholeheartedly running away from God, yet I have been found, yet I have been chosen, yet I have been loved, yet I have been redeemed, yet I have been adopted into the family of God. By the mercy and grace of God, I repented of my sins and believed on Jesus Christ, God’s Son. My desire is to use writing to cause others to look to God and find a relationship with Jesus. I am on a journey to seek God, and I know that when I seek Him I will find Him if I search with all my heart (Jeremiah 29:13).
Will you journey with me?
